Your relationship with clothing and fashion

Rhodie Lamour en boutique mode Superficial and deep, two qualities of fashion that seem few
conciliating, manage to come together in my style universe. Everything has
started in my early childhood when my mother, a nurse, taught me to
sew so that I can have custom-made clothes. I really
noticed the difference and loved the result that followed by wearing these
fitted and customized clothing to my skinny physique, once.
It was over for me with clothes that are too big!
Early on, I discovered how good one feels when adapting their style and colors to their presentation, whatever it may be. But this was just the beginning! Knowing how to read early and being naturally curious, I quickly found that my mother's sewing books taught how each body type and face had a suitable harmony. Thus, I understood the profession of an image consultant: she guides everyone on their unique self, without...

Fashion: a self-expression
Fascinated by the tools of fashion and this personal experience, I have
quickly assimilated that others can form an idea of us through
our stylized presentation. However, this link is not always accurate nor always
true, because many other realities mix with clothing. The socio-
economic, cultural aspects and even more the perception of the person
of themselves, give a broader dimension to fashion. The clothes are
a self-expression! The possible detachment from the superficial that affects our
first impression of a person: I delve deeper into the subject and
I am interested in the one who wears the garment, in order to bring out their true self.

Fashion and the realities of life
Trained at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, I immediately
understood that clothing is, for me, an effective communication tool.
However, to be effective, the piece of clothing must find its
anchoring in the one who wears it. This brings me back to memories during
my adolescence, where my physique was the subject of bullying.  For some,
I was too tall. I was already 5'8 at 14 years old. But this incident, far from having had
the above, strengthened my character, making me subsequently this mannequin
and actress who is writing to you. At that very moment, I had discovered a second great
point: we are what we wish to be, regardless of opinions
outdoors, if we know how to put them in the right box. This explains therefore
why by accompanying you, I will take the time to know your story
personal, and not necessarily that of your well-thought-out biography. It’s
rather your story where everything matters, successes, defeats, and other realities
significant moments of your life, to understand you in your context. Subsequently, the
colors, the study of morphology, style and shopping of course will have their
place in agreement with you.

Martine's experience
If we take the case of Martine, you will appreciate how proud I was to see her
wear skirts and dresses after her journey. Although the goal was to be
a more confident architect in her new role, I had discovered
that she imposed quite severe restrictions. Being somewhat dissatisfied with her
legs, she hid them, and did not dare to show them. However, by accepting herself
better, she learned to use the fashion tips that suit her perfectly
according to her morphology. She is now free and fully enjoys her
presentation!
This example from Martine explains why after more than 10 years of career
diligent as an image consultant, my true mission is to put you in
value through style while freeing yourself from limiting thoughts that could harm your
evolution. For having been an engineer in telecommunications in another
slice of life, when I accompany you, my approach is holistic, in 360º, because
I see you as a whole, your exterior as well as your interior are just as
important one than the other. That’s why I call myself this: engineer in
image !

The Authentic Style Method
Today, I summarize my view of fashion in one method: that of Authentic Style. Accepting, Learning, and Embracing are essential pillars for our clothes to reflect who we are.

You will be well-equipped to choose the trends you believe in, instead of following them blindly. This self-awareness will determine how much you want to resonate with fashion.

Because in short, you will be able to think about your identity in relation to what
you wish to communicate with each chosen and worn piece.

The positive impact of clothing
If this seems complicated to you, I am here to simplify everything. For example, I love
receive those who tell me that they only wear neutral colors. Often,
there is the fear of failing by combining the colors together. Then, see the
result of my support, and see that this person is thriving
getting to know each other better is extraordinary! Another beautiful example is the emotion
to see a business leader present her speech with confidence. Not
only because she is well put after my support, but
especially because their attention will be on their message and those present at the venue
to be in appearance. I believe that our greatest potential as
the fashion engineer is to give value to each element in the
opportune moment, and specifically to each person, in a unique and authentic way.

To conclude, I ask you the following question, which will shed light on your
personal relationship with fashion and your clothes:
Why would you buy a piece that doesn't represent you if you can be
equipped to choose the one that matches you, your personality, to your
authenticity?
