🎧 A word from Rhodie — Welcome to my world

Your expertise is real. But is it perceived as such?

You may have the skills, the experience, the results and a solid reputation. Yet there can be a gap between the real value you bring and what your image communicates.

For a professional, this gap can appear when a role evolves, responsibilities increase, visibility becomes more important, or when it becomes necessary to represent an organization, an expertise or a vision.

For an organization, it can appear when the people who represent it — leaders, executives, client-facing teams or newly promoted professionals — do not always consistently project the organization's values, level of responsibility or positioning.

In both cases, presence communicates before a single word is spoken.

Image, style, posture, the way you present yourself and the whole range of visible signals can:

  • reinforce credibility;

  • make it easier to understand a role or function;

  • support professional or organizational positioning;
  • create consistency between expertise, role and representation;
  • or, on the contrary, create a gap between the real value and the perception it creates.

  • The problem is therefore not always a lack of competence. There can simply be a gap between what you have to offer, what you represent and the signal you send. It is precisely this gap that my approach seeks to observe, understand and reduce.

Suzie Beaudoin, Business Coach

"Our image is the first thing people perceive: it's during those precious seconds that a client decides to do business with you. It's an indispensable tool for any leader."

— Suzie Beaudoin, Business Coach

THE IMAGE ENGINEERING CYCLE
My approach draws on my engineering training: observe, analyze the elements that influence the outcome, understand the interactions and build a response that is consistent with the objective.

It becomes a tool for communication, positioning and professional growth.

This is what gave rise to the:

Image Engineering Cycle:

From competence to a legacy vision.
